For fast and error-free implementation of our warehouse and logistics processes, medika uses scanners and records shipments through a photo documentation app. This digital warehouse management improves the transparency of stocks, goods movements and information flows. Furthermore, this simplifies workflows and reduces the error rate. Mobile data capture also forms the basis for optimal replenishment control when replenishing the picking trays.

The supply of our medika customers is partly carried out by our own truck fleet. The best possible customer supply is ensured by our own route planning and the constant exchange between office staff and the fleet. This also takes place under consideration of our ecological goals.

It has long been common knowledge that electric cars are much better for the environment and climate than conventional gasoline-powered vehicles. That’s why we are increasingly relying on electromobility for internal transport and for the vehicles of our field service. To this end, several charging stations have been installed on the company premises. We as a company are thus setting an example for the environment and the climate, which is very close to our hearts!

To counteract supply bottlenecks in crisis situations, medika offers the possibility to stock medical protective equipment and consumables for customers in a pandemic warehouse. These items can be retrieved by the customer at any time if required. The control and administration of the pandemic stock is done by us. There is the possibility of special deliveries for a fast and flexible customer supply.
